3 Types Of Food You Should Try

Whether you are quite young or are reaching retirement age soon, there are so many types of food and wine out there that you need to experience! Even if you don’t consider yourself a foodie, your tastebuds will appreciate good food (and drinks) when you introduce it to them!

If you’re feeling a little adventurous but need some guidance on how to choose your next meal, here are 3 types of food you definitely need to try at some point in your life.

Raw

Eating raw is a health food trend that became popular in recent years because it cuts out any processed foods and any nutrients that may be extracted through cooking will not be. But the truth is that aside from being a diet trend or a healthy way of life, raw food is also actually quite tasty.

Depending on how or by whom it is prepared, there are so many raw foods that are unlike anything you have ever tasted before. Do a little research to find out about raw food restaurants in your area so that you can give it a try yourself.

Tapas

Spanish food, and specifically tapas, is a great way to eat that is often overlooked or not enjoyed by people who don’t live in or have never visited Spain. Instead of ordering one large entree per person, with tapas a group of people will typically order several small plates to share so that everyone gets a couple of bites of everything.

This is a great way to stay connected with your loved ones with whom you are sharing a meal, and also a good opportunity to try new things you may not have ever had before without committing to ordering a large plate.

Pho

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup made from a very labor-intensive bone broth, and it is not only delicious but it is also an excellent remedy for colds, hangovers, or any other sicknesses you may have. The mixture of spices, citrus, herbs, and onion is also comforting on a cold winter day. Most areas of the United States have at least a small Vietnamese population and restaurants where you can give this magical soup a try for yourself.

Trying different foods, including those well outside of your comfort zone, should be something that is on your bucket list no matter who you are or what stage in life you are at.

It never hurts to try something new and in fact by being a little fearless when it comes to food and beverage, you may end up finding a new favorite! Hopefully, this list is able to help you with that.
