Most people can agree that there are those of us that love cooking and those of us that don’t. Rarely do people fall in between the two.  In fatc, some people hate cooking so much that they look forward to the day they can move into an assisted living facility so that all of their meals will be taken care of.  

Until then, you have to eat somehow, don’t you? Cooking is an essential part of our daily lives not only because home-cooked meals are much more economical, but they’re much healthier for us. Eating things that come straight out of a box that are highly processed will start to take its toll on our health over the years.

You might think the cooking tools are only for cooking aficionados when in reality, a lot of them were made for people who simply don’t like the hassle of dealing with multiple steps in the kitchen. Get yourself the right tools for a beginner that will make everything go much smoother.

Set it and Forget It

One of the biggest reasons why people agree that they don’t like cooking is because it’s so time-consuming. Using something like a crock pot means you can throw all your ingredients in before you go to work in the morning, and when you get home you’ll have a freshly cooked meal. 

The set-it-and-forget-it method is a classic for people who can’t be bothered to stay in the kitchen for hours at a time. When you set your slow cooker on a timer, you don’t have to worry about monitoring the cooking process while it’s happening. You simply press a button and go about your day and know that you’ll be well-fed later on.

Batch Cook

Batch cooking is an extremely efficient way to cook everything you need for the entire week but only in one session. A lot of people like to get their batch cooking in on a Sunday when they have nothing else to do. 

They spend a few hours in the kitchen, but that means that for the rest of the week, all they have to do is reheat what they batch-cooked. That means they can relax at the end of a long work day because dinner is already made!
